ReddMacIt: every Reddit account, one app

If you run more than one Reddit account, you know the ritual: log out, log back in, lose your place, repeat. For people who manage a personal account and a work or community account, that ritual is the daily cost of using Reddit.

ReddMacIt removes it. It is a native macOS app that keeps every Reddit account in one window, side by side, and it is built around one idea: your accounts are yours, and switching between them should take one click, not one sign-out.

What it does

• Keeps every account in one app. Add each Reddit account once, through the official API.
• Switches in one click. Each account has its own feed, inbox, and posting identity, the way multiple mailboxes live in one mail client.
• Stays on your Mac. Sessions and data live locally. No cloud component, no telemetry.

It talks to Reddit through the official API, so your accounts follow the same rules and rate limits as any other client.

Why local

Reddit is a cloud service, but your use of it does not have to live in a browser profile zoo. ReddMacIt keeps the interface native and the data local: your sessions stay on your Mac, and the app works the way a Mac app should, fast and without an Electron tax.

Part of a larger suite

ReddMacIt is the second app in a larger suite of local, offline-friendly apps (web, Mac, and mobile) developed by AIVI AI Services, an AI consulting firm based in Amsterdam. Every app in the suite follows the same rule: your data stays on your device, and the software runs without a subscription to a cloud service.

What is next

ReddMacIt is free during early access. We want to see how people use it before deciding on licensing, so the app carries a donate button rather than a paywall for now.
